拍品描述 翻译
Measurements:Single amazonite barrel bead dimension 2.5 cm / 0.98 inches, total weight 246 grams, Warring States to Han Dynasty, Category: Ancient Pre-Song Jade Stone Ornaments, Primary trading market: New YorkCondition & Provenance:The full necklace is strung with dozens of natural olive-shaped amazonite barrel beads matched with one core Warring States dragonfly eye glass focal bead. All amazonite beads remain intact with no chips, deep cracks or artificial glue repairs. The natural flowing veining runs through every stone with soft layered turquoise-blue tones, coated in thick, smooth ancient patina accumulated over thousands of years of wear. The drill holes are smoothly polished from long-term ancient wear, showing classic aged tunnel abrasion; faint natural stone fissures on partial beads are original mineral formations, no modern dye or enhancement treatment. The dragonfly eye glass focal bead retains all layered concentric eye patterns with solid glass core, only one tiny inherited chip on the edge from ancient wear, no modern grinding or restoration. Original thin black spacer discs between beads are fully preserved with no replacement modern accessories. This artifact was purchased at the 2017 Toronto Asian Antique Fair, then transferred in 2021 to a private ancient bead collector based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. It has been stored long-term in temperature-controlled light-proof storage, only lightly cleaned with dry soft brushes to remove loose dust. No chemical soaking or polishing refinishing has ever been applied, fully retaining original ancient wear patina and the untouched original string assembly with no re-stranding or bead replacement.object Description:This composite necklace combining Warring States-Han amazonite beads and dragonfly eye glass is a premier ancient bead ornament embodying cultural exchange along the pre-Han Silk Road, a scarce intact inherited set highly sought after by ancient bead collectors across North America. The primary strand consists of hand-carved natural amazonite olive barrel beads with uniform standard shapes, tapered at both ends and rounded at the center, the dominant noble bead style popular across central China during the Warring States and Han dynasties. Every amazonite stone displays distinctive natural turquoise-green flowing silk veining with balanced soft hues. After over two thousand years of continuous wear, each bead surface developed thick, translucent ancient patina, and the two-end drill holes formed smooth glossy horseshoe-shaped tunnels from constant friction, key physical wear markers to authenticate antique bead dating. Centered on the necklace sits one Mediterranean-style Warring States dragonfly eye glass focal bead, crafted with multi-layer composite glass overlay molding technology. The black glass base is decorated with raised concentric circular eyes in blue, white and orange-red, a signature glass trade artifact imported into central China via western frontier trade routes before the Han Dynasty, vivid physical evidence documenting cross-border craft and commodity exchange along the ancient Silk Road. Thin black spacer discs separate each amazonite bead to prevent surface abrasion, matching the original antique string assembly design with zero modern alterations. Complete necklaces pairing intact Warring States amazonite barrel beads with original matching dragonfly eye glass focal beads are extremely scarce surviving relics. This piece delivers irreplaceable archaeological value for Silk Road research, academic reference for ancient jewelry craftsmanship, and strong investment potential for high-end antique bead collections, consistently drawing intense bidding from specialized ancient bead collectors in New York and Pennsylvania.
