拍品描述 翻译
Dimensions:Mouth Diameter 12.5cm (4.92 in), Height 7.5cm (2.95 in), 10th?13th Century A.D.Condition & Provenance:The bowl is fully intact with no cracks, chips or modern restoration. Natural undulating floral rim is well?preserved. Rich iridescent splash patterns of blue, silvery?white and brown?yellow spread across glaze surface. Coarse dry base retains untouched ancient burial patina. Provenance: Private collection of Song black?glaze porcelain specialist, Hong Kong, China. Acquired at Kuala Lumpur Asian Antique Art Fair in 2002, kept within one private family for over twenty years. Exhibited only in private?collection themed shows for southern?Song tea wares, never offered at public auction.Description:This floral?rim tea bowl with spectacular yaobian iridescence was produced at Jizhou kilns during Song dynasty, a highly prized vessel for the famous Song tea?whisking custom. It features naturally undulating floral rim, smoothly curved walls tapering down toward a broad unglazed foot ring. The robust well?proportioned body sits comfortably in hand, representing classic Song?dynasty tea?bowl silhouette. The whole interior and exterior are covered with black base glaze, upon which magnificent spontaneous iridescent splashes emerged in kiln. Deep cobalt?blue, silver?white, gray?green and russet?brown hues interweave like cosmic nebula, radiating outward from bowl center toward rim. All colorful patterns are pure kiln?fire creation without any hand?painted decoration. Thick glaze hosts countless fine crystalline structures shifting under changing light. Foot ring is left unglazed, showing coarse dark?gray?brown clay with obvious wheel?cut marks on base. Glaze drips naturally and stops above foot ring, a typical manufacturing trait of Jizhou wares. Yaobian iridescent Jizhou pieces were notoriously difficult to fire with very low success rate. Surviving intact floral?rim examples are exceptionally scarce. This specimen delivers breathtaking multi?toned iridescent effect with well?formed shape. All clay and glaze markers match authentic Song?period Jizhou production. Original patina has not been polished or cleaned. It stands as important tangible heritage for understanding Song tea culture, and holds tremendous aesthetic as well as collectible value for serious ceramic collectors.
