拍品描述 翻译
Dimensions:Diameter 28 cm (11.02 in), Height 3.6 cm (1.42 in), Late Qing imperial famille rose porcelain from the 19th centuryCondition & Provenance:The charger is fully intact without cracks, chips or pigment peeling; the wide flat rim, central medallion and foot ring remain undamaged. The famille rose lion motif at the center retains rich, saturated hues, the green scrolling vine border shows no large-scale glaze loss, only faint natural surface wear accumulated over decades of circulation. There is no overpainting, glaze touch-up or crack repair work. The six-character iron-red reign mark “Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi” at the base is neatly inscribed, the five iron-red bat motifs on the exterior base are fully preserved, and the glaze bears authentic undisturbed aged patina with no acid washing or artificial grinding. Classified as late Qing imperial famille rose porcelain, this piece circulated through California, previously owned by a private collector specializing in late Qing imperial porcelain based in Los Angeles, California. It comes with collection records from a Vancouver antique guild and official appraisal certification for late Qing imperial ceramics, with no aftermarket painted patterns, body restoration or counterfeit reign mark alterations.Description:This large Guangxu famille rose charger decorated with three lions frolicking with a silk ball ranks as a representative imperial display and utility porcelain of the late Qing court, widely respected among antique Chinese ceramic collectors across North America and highly sought after by famille rose enthusiasts in New York and Florida. It features a classic wide flat rim paired with a shallow curved belly and low circular foot, crafted with balanced, generous proportions; at 28 centimeters across, it is an ideal decorative plate for traditional interior display. The decoration is laid out in distinct bands. The entire rim is covered in pale green ground filled with continuous scrolling vine patterns interspersed with pink, yellow and blue floral blossoms, forming a soft, dense decorative border. The central medallion showcases three auspicious lions—one large, two cubs—playing with an embroidered silk ball. The lions are rendered in contrasting yellow, turquoise and cobalt blue tones with finely detailed layered fur, swirling green ribbons coiling around the ball. The lively composition carries classic symbolic meaning of high official rank and lasting prosperity, a staple auspicious motif of Qing decorative art. The overglaze famille rose enamel carries soft, creamy texture typical of Guangxu imperial kilns, with smooth natural transitions between green, iron red, pale yellow and stone blue pigments. The underside bears a crisp vertical six-character imperial reign mark hand-painted in iron red, paired with five iron-red bats scattered around the foot ring to symbolize five blessings. The porcelain body is fine, white and dense, covered with smooth translucent white glaze. Fully intact large Guangxu famille rose chargers bearing authentic imperial reign marks are scarce on today’s antique market, most surviving examples suffer faded pigment or worn inscriptions. This well-preserved specimen retains complete vibrant decoration and clear official marking, combining historical imperial kiln provenance with traditional folk auspicious art value. It is perfect for long-term themed exhibitions at Asian art galleries in California and New York, permanent high-end private collections of Qing imperial porcelain overseas, and interior styling for traditional Chinese tea rooms and antique halls to showcase classical auspicious decorative aesthetics.
