拍品描述 翻译
Dimensions: Overall Height 38cm (14.96in), Jin Dynasty, 12th to 13th CenturyCondition & Provenance: The entire vessel including its original matching cover is fully intact with no cracks, chips or restoration work. Fine natural aged crackle spreads evenly all over the glaze surface. The sky-blue base glaze is thick and consistent, while the fired purple-red splash patterning boasts rich, vivid color tightly bonded to the ceramic body. Only faint minor earth wear can be seen on the outer rim of the base foot, with no large glaze loss or peeling. The unglazed ring foot features thick aged brown clay with distinct wheel trimming marks and natural ancient soil patina, no artificial grinding or fake aging treatment. Category: Pre-Song porcelain, market destination: Hong Kong. This vase was part of the private collection of a veteran Jun ware collector in Central, Hong Kong. The collector acquired this piece from an antique gallery in Central Hong Kong back in 2001, all original purchase paperwork and long-term collection records are fully preserved.Description: This large covered plum vase is a premium decorative masterpiece crafted at northern Jun Kiln during the Jin Dynasty. It follows a classic elegant silhouette with a narrow straight neck paired with its original matching dome cover, broad rounded shoulders tapering down into an elongated slim belly that gently narrows to a flat ring foot. The overall contour is tall, balanced and graceful. Standing at 38 centimeters, this is a large-format Jun display vessel, quite scarce among surviving medieval Jun wares. The whole body is coated with thick creamy sky-blue opalescent glaze, covered in delicate natural ice crackle texture unique to aged Jun porcelain. A dramatic natural kiln-transformation splash of deep purple and crimson blue spreads across the midsection, blending fluidly like drifting cloud formations with multi-layered gradient tones, perfectly embodying the famous Jun kiln aesthetic of identical raw glaze yielding infinite varied finished colors. The matching lid is fully glazed with rich rose-purple glaze, its rim showing a pale buff clay edge that harmonizes seamlessly with the purple splashes on the vase body. The base ring foot is left unglazed, revealing sturdy coarse brown kiln clay, with faint dripping glaze forming a thin brown protective band along the foot rim, a standard firing technique marker of Jin Dynasty Jun kiln workshops. Fully intact large Jin Jun plum vases with original matching covers are extremely rare on the antique market. This specimen boasts flawless glaze and spectacular natural kiln color variation, holding immense academic research value for northern medieval Chinese ceramics and elite oriental interior decor appeal, widely coveted by top ancient porcelain collectors across the globe.
