Those Huntsman scholars or lucky visitors to the Rolling Stones wardrobe exhibition http://www.stonesexhibitionism.com/ - still in Nashville - will no doubt have seen the extraordinary Huntsman collaboration with Alexander McQueen worn on tour by Mick Jagger. So it was only fitting for Huntsman to work with another member of the Jagger family on this very special creation.
Amba Jackson, the rock and roll star’s grand daughter and designer, a keen amateur of the boardgame, worked with Huntsman's creative team to produce a unique board design printed on the inside lining of creative director Campbell Carey’s black linen travel jacket, transforming it?into a wearable backgammon set.
The jacket has been imbued with bespoke morning coat tailoring techniques to stiffen the board whilst inside pockets for dice and checkers (made of Huntsman stag horn) were added to ensure this jacket offers its wearer a go at?their favourite game?wherever he or she is.
The prototype offered to the winner of this lot is available in size 36, however the buyer's size can be accommodated upon request.
