Description: Huntsman?is offering to the buyer of this lot an iconic bespoke jacket, with the full bespoke experience, to be made from this last length of one of their favourite cloths.?This suiting length represents the last three metres of this extraordinary vintage 100% Brown Pheasant Weave cloth made by Joshua Ellis. Sharing a long tradition with Huntsman, Joshua Ellis has been weaving cashmere and noble fibres for over 250 years, and is highly sought after the world over for their innovation in design and manufacturing, and their investment in new generations to continually develop the time-honoured skills required to produce the finest handcrafted cashmere and woollen cloth.
Made prior to the 1970s and sadly no longer in production. The quality of this cloth was achieved by using two ply yarn in order to give a classic knitted effect. Fittings will be carried out at one of Huntsman's locations, in Savile Row London, 57th New York, or at one of their global trunk shows (see website for forthcoming trunk show dates and locations - www.huntsmansavilerow.com/trunk-shows/).
