Description: Among the many fashion designers who have commissioned bespoke suits from Huntsman, Hubert de Givenchy holds a special place, not only for his elegance but also for being introduced to the house by his friend Gregory Peck, another iconic Huntsman.
From there it was a short step for Huntsman's Chairman to commission the great couturier’s nephew and exquisite jewellery designer James de Givenchy?to inspire himself from Huntsman’s archives and create these solid gold cufflinks, with handmade enamel inserts. The front panel humorously features that other famous Huntsman, the giant Australian spider, the back a detail of Huntsman’s s typeset from 1849, as all things Huntsman combining tradition and modernity. This pair is the last available of a?limited edition of 12 sets.
Each circular terminal is applied?with a spider motif and Huntsman lettering in red enamel,?
