This decorative bronze sculpture depicts the Mother Goddess Guanyin as a young woman. She has her neatly incised hair artfully done up in a knot and wears a necklace. Guanyin is shown with a third eye, elongated earlobes and a gentle smile playing around her lips. Inside the bronze is an incised signature or mark reading ‘Jian Qing’.
