This bright red silk Lady’s robe shows vivid embroidery decoration in rich colors. To each side are three roundels with vivid sceneries of lovers, dignitaries and disciples as well as a fighting scene. Floral arrangements, vegetal shapes and butterflies round off the composition. The hems at the lower part, collar and sleeves are featuring a broad, flower and butterfly band embroidered in blue hues. The light blue silk sleeve bands are decorated with flowers, fruits and vessels, partially executed in Peking knot stitch.

Condition: Good condition with extensive staining and only very few loose threads
