Description: Silk with multi-colored silk threads, segmented, backside lined with silk

This large woven silk brocade panel shows a dark red background and is overtly decorated with vines and leaves held in white and gold colors. Six turquoise colored square reserves are sawn onto the brocade, again executed in weaving and with some satin stitches.

Condition: Good condition with minor wear and only few loose threads. Backside silk only fair condition
Provenance: Old Austrian Private collection, assembled in the 1930s to early 1950s
