The hinged box made to suggest a bag of fabric shows inside Hotei and a boy sitting opposite each other at a sugeroku board. The chubby god of good fortune in a open robe has raised the dice cup, which reveals a tiny, movable cube that was probably made of ivory. ? 3,6cm. Der aufklappbare Stoffbeutel zeigt im Inneren den Glücksgott Hotei und einen Knaben, die sich an einem sugeroku-Spielbrett gegenübersitzen. Der beleibte Gott in offener Robe hat den Würfelbecher erhoben, in dem ein winziger, beweglicher Würfel sichtbar ist, der vermutlich aus Elfenbein gearbeitet wurde. ? 3,6cm. Zustand A.
