Fine Chinese, Late Qing Dynasty Pewter 4 piece Teapot Set consisting of a quatrefoil pewter tea tray with hammered surface and jadeite curved handles, a covered quatrefoil teapot with jade handle and cover finial, together with a covered quatrefoil sugar with double jade handles and cover finial, and a covered quatrefoil creamer with jade handle and cover finial; each piece and cover deeply stamped: The "Old Capital" 229 Chien Men Street,Peking, China; both sides of teapot. sugar & creamer with applied pewter leaves and inset "grapes" of Jadeite, jade, and carnelian, and each piece of the set with a small bronze edge. Light age related wear and a few very small dents or scratches. Length of teapot from handle to spout 8 3/8 inches (21.4 cm.). Width of tray handle to handle 14 3/4 inches (37.6 cm.).
