Description: dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Nias, Simple, flat, single-edged blade, slightly enlarged toward the foible, hollow at the tip. Wooden grip, finely carved in a 'plate' shape, a demoniac figure on the base (bekhu). Brass ring-nut. Wooden scabbard with rattan bands, with rare ball ornament on the front side of the cap, in braided rattan, externally covered with shells of a particular walnut type and sea-shells. Very scarce. length 65 cm.
