Karmapa’s hands showing the gesture of teaching (dharmacakra mudra) in front of his heart center. Seated in full lotus posture (dhyana-asana) on a double cushion pedestal. Wearing a black hat in the shape of the famous “Black Crown” (The real “Black Crown was later offered to the 5th Karmapa, Dezhin Shegpa, by the Chinese Emperor Yung Lo.) and a long, three-part robe of a Buddhist monk. Robe and pedestal with very fine engraving. Bottom covered with consecration plate with seal. Very rare and finely casted figure.
