The vase is decorated to the neck with two iron red kui dragon handles, the central body with a bat above a large lotus bloom surrounded by further small blooms and four of the Eight Buddhist Emblems all connected by scrolling foliage, between a lappet band and a ruyi-head band. The neck is decorated with the other four Buddhist emblems, all below a shou character band. The base with a seal mark.
