A hare's fur bowl with a robust body rising from the foot to a slightly everted rim. Over all covered in black glaze and the hare's fur streak extending from rim down both interior and exterior of the bowl. The glaze stops near the foot, with slight dripping effect. The foot reveals the brownish stoneware body. Size: Diam. 8.5 x 18.7 x 5.5 cm. Property of a Canadian doctor who inherited it from his family, whom acquired it in the 1950s.
