Description: A fine early portion of a stained glass window most likely from a Jewish temple. It has a tag on the frame noting that it came from the collection of (Michael) Zagayski. Zagayski was one of the most important collectors of Judaica in the world. Parts of his collections were sold through Sotheby's in 1964, as well as a private sale of over $350,000. Pieces from his collection are on permanent display in the Jewish Museum in New York City.
