Bears a partial New York gallery label on reverse identifying this. Signed at LL along with the date October 1935. The artwork and set design were for Act I Scene I of the play. It depicts the entranceway of Kensington Palace, UK. On November 30, 2008 Christie's Auction in Kensington, UK sold an unidentified set design by Whistler for $17,290.
