Description: An egyptian small bronze votive sarcophagus with a shrewmouse mummy inside. The sarcophagus is of typical rectangular open form which contained the mummified animal carefully wrapped in linen. The upper side of the sarcophagus is modeled with a figure of the animal as it would have appeared in life, snout slightly downturned ears raised and long tail. | Egypt. Late Period. 664-332 BC.
