Description: FIVE EGYPTIAN VESSELS
Egypt, various time periods, earthenware. Jar excavated in Abydos having inscribed label reading "Predynastic" (4.2"h.) Round jar having rounded bottom of burnished red clay and traces of white residue around neck, having chips and two fragments glued (3.5"h.) Shallow bowl of red clay with pitted bottom and traces of carbon (2.1"h.) Pot with round bottom, traces of unknown black and white encrustation, chip loss to rim and one fragment glued (4.4"h.) accompanied by an unidentified rounded vessel.
