very fine 18th C. Chinese Qing Dynasty blue and white hexagonal baluster porcelain vase. Sturdily potted with faceted body, angled shoulder gently tapered from waisted prominent neck toward flared rim everted upon concave splayed base. The exterior delicately decorated with fruits abundant and foliates, forming the Three Abundances. The neck with rococo floral motifs on neck. Banded numerously with Ruyi Pattern on shoulders, rims, and foot.
The pair elegantly presented upon open-works carved hardwood stands in conforming motif.
The shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain Imperial wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the painting, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. Qianlong six characters reign mark in underglaze blue, Qing Dynasty.
