Ming Dynasty Xuande Period Green Glazed Porcelain Meiping Vase W/Crane Motif & Six Character Reign Mark - This porcelain vase from the Ming Dynasty is of typical Meiping form with a narrow mouth, a small neck resting on high, broad shoulders and a tall body tapering off to a shallow ring foot. The vase is elaborately decorated with a vivid apple green glaze and ivory crackled crane, peony and lotus motifs. The vase bears the six character Xuande reign mark near the base of the neck. Measurements (approximate): 17.5"H x 9.5" in diameter.
