Qing Dynasty Kangxi Period Blue Underglazed White Porcelain Lidded Tea Jar W/Double Circle Mark - This amazing piece is a porcelain lidded tea jar from the Kangxi Period of the Qing Dynasty. The jar is elaborately decorated in blue underglaze, with an ornate scene of Imperial servants. There are two panels which display two different scenes, on a blue background with unglazed lotus flower details. The underside of the vase bears the double circle blue underglazed mark typical of the Kangxi period, when the use of nianhao (imperial reign marks) was suspended. The jar also has an unglazed rim on the base, and on the base of the lid. Measurements (approximate): 10"H x 7.5"W.
