A bronze statuette of the goddess Parvati seated with legs crossed on a lotus base; hair swept back and gathered in a bun to the side of the head; bands of necklaces to the chest, armlets and bracelets to both arms; right hand held up in blessing. 351 grams, 85cm (3 1/4"). Ex South London collection; acquired in the late 1990s.
