A substantial bronze axehead comprising a tubular socket with four moulded ribs and cones projecting to the rear; thin blade with reinforced edges, swept profile; with later wooden shaft for display. 450 grams, 36.5cm (14 1/4"). Property of a Guernsey collector; acquired in the UK in the early 1990s.
