The group comprises: a figure of a scholar; a boat with a cover which is inscribed and marked 'Fang Cheng Dong zhi' and 'Fang Hua kuan'; a Yunnan style steam pot, the underside marked 'Zhongguo Yunnan kuan'; a small dark clay melon-shaped teapot, marked to the base and underside of the cover 'Zhang Hong Hua zhi'; a Shoulao-shaped teapot; a small dark clay ?inscribed? teapot, signed 'Di Ya Fang zhi'; and four dark clay ?inscribed? teacups with the interiors enamelled white. The largest, 21.5 cm. diam. Condition: The scholar: Appears to be in overall good condition. 14 cm. high The boat: Shallow chip to the cover 16.5 cm. long The steam pot: Small chips to the cover and base. 21.5 cm. diam. The melon-shaped teapot: Small chip to the foot (approx. 0.3 cm.) 11 cm. wide The Shoulao teapot: Chips to the rim of the cover. Traces of gilding. 17.5 cm. wide The inscribed clay teapot: Wear to the infilled pigments, otherwise in overall good condition. 11.5 cm. wide Four teacups: Appears to be in overall good condition. 5.1 cm. diam.
