A group of 4 Chinese watercolor and ink paintings on paper of birds by Wang Zheng. The paintings depict: 7 swallows, a kingfisher among lotuses, a crow, and 4 sparrows with bamboo. Each has 4 seals except for the crow which has 3 seals, and each is mounted on a silk backing and has silk dowels. Dimensions are: each measures 36 inches tall X 12 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The paintings have some creasing and a few minor areas of loss or possible repair. Provenance: From a southern California estate.
