DESCRIPTION: A set of three transferware porcelain plates composed of a set of two JR&Co "Byzantium", Flow blue plates, one smaller and one larger, embellished with scenes of Orientalist landscapes and structures along the backdrop. Marked with JR&Co stamps. The third is a T.J. & J. Mayer Oregon, "Chinese Porcelaine" plates, embellished with transferred Chinoiserie motifs. Marked along the underside:"Oregon Chinese Porcelaine T.J.&J Mayer Longport". CIRCA: Mid-Late 19th Ct. ORIGIN: England DIMENSIONS: (Chinese Porcelaine) Diameter: 9 5/8" (Byzantium Smaller) Diameter:9 1/8" (Larger Byzantium) Diameter:10.25" CONDITION: Fair age appropriate condition.
