DESCRIPTION: Josef Strnact cobalt blue majolica jardinieres. Features a Greco-Roman column base and stem along with amphora style rococo handles. Finished with renderings taken from Angelica Kauffmann, the Neo-Classical painter of regal angelic figures. Finished with gilded trim and accents and marked:" JS Made in Austria" along with impressed JS mark and "Angelica Kauffman" along the renderings seen at the top of the vases.CIRCA: Early 20th Ct.ORIGIN: AustriaDIMENSIONS:H:17" L:11"CONDITION: Minor age appropriate wear as seen in gilding loss. One has a hairline fracture through the left of one of the Kauffman paintings. See lot description for details on item condition.
