DESCRIPTION: A pair of antique Volkstedt porcelain figurines. the first is of a woman wearing floral patterned garments holding what appears to be a loaf of bread standing atop a foliage embellished base. The second figurine is of a woman also wearing floral motif garments holding a jug while standing atop a scrolled rococo motif base. Both are finished with glossed glazes and gilded accents.CIRCA: 19th Ct.ORIGIN: GermanyDIMENSIONS: (Holding Bread) H:4 5/8" L:1 7/8" W:1.75" (Holding Jug) H:4.5" L:1.75"CONDITION: (Holding Bread): Right arm has been broken and repaired, hairlines along bottom of base and bottom of her dress. (Holding Jug) Some chips and loss of gilding. See lot description for details on item condition.
