Antique Set of 4 Ming style Qing Dynasty, hand painted, porcelain, octagonal 8-sided scalloped famille verte rice bowls, China, late 19th - early 20th century [1890s-1910s].The McKinley Act which required to stamp "China" on the imported ware was introduced in 1897; the bill which required to stamp "Made in China" was introduced in 1921. The rule of Chinese Qing dynasty ended in 1911 and the Republic was proclaimed. Therefore, these bowls can be attributed into late Qing or early Republic period.
