A 19th Century Davenport Caneware Covered Dish. Oval form with twisted handle surmounting pierced cover with fluted top and bottom rim and crisscrossed motif overall. Impressed "Davenport" above an anchor, as well as "11" and "Warranted" with a paper "1977 Wedgwood Seminar Henry Ford Museum" label at the underside. Wear overall and separation noted, chips noted to the top rim of the base, crazing to the glaze at the underside of cover and interior of dish. 5 3/4" long, 2 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $100-150
