North African Moroccan snaphaunce gun, 19th century, the antique weapon covered overall with silver metal filigree enhanced with pieces of shaped and polished camel bone and teardrop turquoise, the shape of the butt indicating it to be a type of long gun called an Afedali, originating from the valley of Oued Sous in the Taroudant region. 53.5" L. Rust to metal, possibly lacking a piece of filigree on top of barrel.
