* A Chinese Black and Polychrome Lacquered Hardwood Table, Fangzhuo qing dynasty (1644-1911) the square top centered with a gilt highlighted peony blossom enclosed by panels showing phoenix birds amongst peony scrolls, further framed by a diaper border decorated with floral sprigs, the short recessed waist above a reticulated apron with short stretchers, supported on square sectioned legs with similar decoration, ending in hoof feet.
