A rare Huanghuali Garment Rack, ‘YiJia’, back from the Qing dynasty, composed of rectangular uprights, mitered into a horizontal top rail terminating into separately carved stylized dragon heads. The rail is suspended over pierced dragon spandrels tenoned into the sides of the uprights which are set into elegantly carved solid bases. Spandrel carved detailing includes zoomorphic birds and dragon figures amongst stylized clouds over lishui border.
