Description: Comprising: a klapmuts bowl decorated with a landscape, the base with a square shop mark; a pair of ?river landscape? bowl, the base with a twin fish mark; a bowl decorated with ladies and boys under willow trees, the base with a ?mei yu zhen wan? mark to the base, and a lobed bowl decorated with narrative panels about a scholar, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark. The klapmuts bowl: 15.7 cm. diam. The ?river landscape? bowls: 14.5 cm. diam. The ?ladies? bowl: 15.5 cm. diam. The ?narrative? bowl: 22.5 cm. diam. Condition: The klapmuts bowl: there are some touched up chips to the rim, one associated with a hairline crack (approx.. 5 cm.), and a further small chip to the foot. One ?river landscape? bowl: there is a chip to the rim with an associated hairline (approx. 5 cm. long); and some further tiny nicks to the rim and foot. The other ?river landscape? bowl: appear to be in overall good condition. The ?ladies? bowl: the bowl has been broken into three pieces and restuck, and with restored chips. The ?narrative? bowl: the bowl has been broken in half and restuck; there are further chips and frits to the rim.
