Description: 19TH C. MAJOLICA ELEPHANT VASE
19th c. Majolica Elephant Form Spill Vase, with howdah and hand painted and gilded decoration, originally modelled by James Hadley and a form originally made by Royal Worcester, with embossed 'K & G, Luneville' (France) mark to stomach, one foot impressed '86' and hand painted burgundy fleur-de-lis form mark to another foot, 7 1/2" high, 9" x 3 1/2". Glaze flakes to top rim.
