Collection of (8) Antique English and German Ceramic Tiles, including: Mintons China Works majolica floral design tile in mauve, blue, green and cream, ca. 1915, 6" sq.; Minton & Co. eight-color majolica tile, probably designed by Augustus Pugin, ca. 1860s, 5 3/4" sq.; Henry Doulton & Co., Burslem, faience stoneware tile, ca. 1925, removed from a fireplace surround in an early 20th c. English house, blue green, brown and cream Arts & Crafts design, 6 1/8" sq., small edge chips and top edge crack; Victorian era majolica tile decorated with oak leaves and acorns on a brown background, unknown maker, 6" sq., lower right corner chip; and set of (4) ca. 1900 Villeroy & Boch Mettlach German geometric floor tiles, together they comprise a complete design in shades of blue, terra cotta, tan, black and cream, beveled shape backs with illegible impressed letters, 6 5/8" square, a few base edge chips.
