Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778). Three etchings. Two plates from the c. 1761 Rome edition of Della Magnificenza e d'Architettura de' Romani. The first depicts various capitals and bas-reliefs; the second depicts column bases compared with illustrations from Julien-David Le Roy (1724-1803). Both of these plates have double circle fleur de lis watermarks. The third plate is the dedication page from Antichita d'Albano e di Castel Gandolfo, with a dedication to Pope Clement XIII.
