Branches No.2; acrylic on canvas; signed Lian Xueming (b.1969) on bottom left corner, dated 2012; signed and titled on verso; 19.5 x 23.5 inch (49.5 x 59.7 cm). Lian Xueming was born in April, 1969 in Baoding City of Hebei Province, he graduated form the Art Department of Leshan Teachers College with a major in oil painting in 1992 and advanced studies of oil painting class from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'IN FULL BLOSSOM' sold at XiLingYinShe Auction Co. Ltd. 'Modern & Contemporary Chinese Oil Painting & Sculpture?' in 2011 for $17,796. PROVENANCE: Purchased directly from artist; acquired by present owner from previous collection.
