The teapot is decorated with moulded and applique chrysanthemum and prunus flowers growing on branches, decorated with gilding and iron-red enamels. The cover is similarly decorated. The handle, spout, and finial are mounted in silver decorated with birds.
Condition: The cover:
There is restoration to the finial and a thin bruise to the inner rim (approx. 2.3 cm.)
The teapot:
There is a chip to the rim (approx. 0.3 cm.).
Both: there are chips to the raised decoration and some small areas of gilding refreshed.
