Each jar is decorated with shaped panels enclosing precious objects and further fan-shaped panels enclosing scholar and pavilions, all interspersed with lotus and peony, and below a ruyi head band and demi-flower head band to neck. Each base with an artemisia leaf mark in underglaze blue.
Each jar with a carved and pierced wood cover.
Condition: One vase: two chips to the rim.
Both vases:
Slightly wobbly.
With a drilled hole to the base which has been infilled.
