The ewer is carved as a bunch of finger citron growing from a leafy gnarled openwork branch which forms the handle of the vessel. The cover is surmounted by a finial shaped as as further finger citron.

Condition: Chips to the carved design, particularly to the edges and the openwork carved design.
Fine age cracks and wear to the ivory.
