The vase is moulded with two s-shaped ruyi-sceptre handles to the neck, and two fixed ring handles to the shoulders, the domed front section is decorated with a raised roundel enclosing 'qian', one of the Eight Daoist Symbols meaning 'heaven', surrounded by two registers of lotus bands. The sides are similarly decorated, and the neck is encircled by a stiff leaf band. The design is repeated on the flattened reverse, with the central roundel enclosing the symbol 'kun', for earth. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
Condition: With cracks throughought
A section to the ruyi-sceptre handle restuck (Approx. 3 cm. long).
Frits along one of the edges.
