Size 8.1 X 11.5 feet, made of fine quality baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, this rug was specifically made for a western audience. The wool was imported from Manchester, England and the design motifs of this rare antique Kashan are both special and unique in that they were made for the taste and liking of the English and other western European nations. A very rare and one of a kind rug, in fair condition, given its age. Hand woven in Kashan, Iran.
