19th/20th century Set within an upside-down triangle within a six-pointed star, the female deity naked, red in colour, dancing on a river of blood whilst holding a vajra and a skull cup, surrounded by further dakinis and couples in yab-yum, all within the square palace circled by a row of lotus petals, vajra, flames and charnel grounds, with the five Buddhas, with central Akshobya at the top of the painting, above a row of five multi-armed female deities and two dakinis, with further five multi-armed meditational deities, two protectors and two further dakinis at the bottom of the painting, all mounted in silk.66.5cm (26 1/8in) x 48.5cm (19 1/8in)
