A pair of French 950 silver nut / candy dishes by Jean E. Puiforcat. The undersides marked Puiforcat, Paris. The sides stamped with the Emile Puiforcat mark commencing in 1857 and continued to be used by grandson Jean Puiforcat and the Minerva 1 mark (at forehead) indicating 950 silver purity. The footed dishes with tapering sides and domed interior measure 4.75" diameter, 1-3/8" high. Each with stylized engraved design at center. Overall weight 310 grams.
