A fine mid-19th century porcelain plate / shallow dish. The plate is decorated in bright colorful over-glaze enamels depicting mandarin figures alternating with baskets filled with flowers and surrounding a center medallion depicting a pheasant. The wide border is decorated with precious objects. Signed underfoot in iron red with the Qing Dynasty, Xianfeng reign mark (1851-1861). Measures 9.5" diameter, 1.25" high.CONDITION: No chips, cracks, nicks, hairlines or repairs. There is a glaze skip to the underside rim and a 1/16" factory line.
