Three paintings on board by Robert H Ransley, consisting of: "Maine Woodland",a marine sunset, and "Children of the Shaows". The fisrt two are oil on artist board, the third, oil on masonite. Winter scene is siged with the artist's label on the reverse, "Children" is titled and dated on the reverse. These are late works by the Philadelphia-based artist and illustrator, best known for his early 1920s Saturday Evening Post Covers. Dimensions are: 20" X 16", 20" X 15.75" and 24" X 20".
