A fine American silver and copper mixed metals cigar box by Theodore B. Starr of New York, circa 1900 Base stamped with firm's logo, name of firm and 'STERLING AND OTHER METALS', rectangular with hammered surfaces, cedar wood-lined, cover and sides applied with stylised scrollwork decorated with small rivets, cover centred by engraved initials 'LES', 23 cm. long x 13.5 cm. wide x 6.7 cm. high.
